Active Healthy Lifestyle: Early Childhood Obesity Prevention (MOD025)

Length: 2 - 2.5 hours
ETO: Health and Safety
PDR:

Families are one of the most important and lasting influences on the choices that children make. So when it comes to preventing excess weight gain and obesity, parents have the potential to steer their children in directions that lays the foundation for lifelong good health.
Children today live in a world that more readily promotes unhealthy eating rather than healthy eating, and fosters sedentary activities more than physical activities, but home visitors can provide parents with the necessary tools and education they need to empower their children and model healthy choices.
