The AHVN Home Visitor Safety Team was established in September 2022. Our main goals are to reduce safety incidents for Home Visitors (HVs) and provide a formal way to discuss and address the safety issues they face in the field. Our mission is to build a culture of safety and put better safety practices in place for Home Visitors through open discussion, setting goals, and finding solutions.
So far, we’ve created this digital system to gather safety concerns (click or copy/paste: https://ahvn.typeform.com/to/RlZjhvSn ) from across the state and have worked with AHVN agencies to help address the issues reported.
As an AHVN Home Visitor, you are already a member of this team!
If you’d like to take your commitment to Home Visitor safety farther and become a Safety Team Leader or Sub-Team Member, please reach out to us (click or copy/paste: https://ahvn.typeform.com/to/b8L9r1yq )
We want your voice, talent, and ideas to help keep all AHVN Home Visitors safe!
