Length: 3 hours
ETO: Professional Growth and Leadership
PDR: Yes- Arkansas PDR available for this training
We live in a data-driven world. The success of any business, organization, or program hinges on the insights gained from gathering and analyzing data. Home Visiting is no different. The work we do and the decisions we make are all based on collecting, analyzing, and reporting data in various ways. This module provides an overview of research and data management concepts. You will learn how the field of home visiting is impacted regarding funding, effectiveness, programming, outcomes, and professional development. This module is designed to give all home visiting staff a working knowledge of basic research and data concepts to alleviate the anxiety, fears, and boredom that arise when we hear the words “data” and “statistics.” (New Oct 2023)
