Motor vehicle crashes are the number one killer of children and most children are not being transported correctly. This training was created to prepare Home Visitors to better educate and empower parents to improve their child’s safety while in a motor vehicle. MOD018
Objectives
By the end of this training Home Visitors will be able to:
- Discuss importance of child passenger safety
- Discuss correct selection of seats for children
- Describe misuse of child restraints
- Locate resources for information
- Advise parents on restraint needs
