[LIMITED ENROLLMENT] This online self-paced module is the introduction to our three-part series on diversity and inclusion for early childhood home visitors and parent educators. This module includes the “kickoff video keynote” from Liz Nead addressed to the home visiting professional of the Arkansas Home Visiting Network on April 28 2021. Liz Nead lays the groundwork for us to begin having open, facilitated conversations designed to help participants learn about themselves and others, develop empathy and make sense of the diversity in our everyday lives.  After viewing this video, upon request, participants will be enrolled in upcoming live virtual sessions to participate in facilitated, in-depth conversations which are designed to help understand how we think about diversity and inclusion and assist participants in talking with each other about these sometimes tense topics.  Enrollment for this introduction course and the Conversation Café Series is limited to home visiting professionals within the Arkansas Home Visiting Network.  Contact the AHVN Training Institute if you are a home visiting professional within the AHVN Network who would like to be enrolled this online course and also enrolled in an upcoming Conversation Café training. Our email is homevisitingti@uams.edu. (New April 2021)
