After the age of 1 month until the first birthday, the most common causes of infant death are related to unsafe sleep practices. This online training was designed to increase Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS) risk reduction awareness and educate home visitors on how to promote safe sleep practices among families. Learners will learn how to use Motivational Interviewing techniques to help parents understand and motivate themselves to practice safe sleep recommendations with their infants.
